Job description

In this role, you will work in a multidisciplinary environment where software, systems, and application teams collaborate closely to deliver robust, safe, and high-performance embedded solutions.

Your Mission

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the specification, design, implementation, and documentation of embedded software functionalities for complex automotive systems.

You will actively contribute to the full software lifecycle, from development to validation, ensuring high-quality and reliable software delivery.

Your responsibilities include: Specifying, designing, implementing, and documenting embedded software functionalities. Developing new software features and maintaining existing products. Collaborating with system and application software teams to solve complex technical challenges. Working closely with the SW Verification & Validation team to define test specifications and develop test cases. Supporting debugging and root-cause analysis of software-level issues. Ensuring software quality through structured development and validation practices. Contributing to technical documentation and software architecture consistency.

Your Expertise

You are a strong embedded software engineer with a solid understanding of automotive software development and system-level thinking.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software development?, Do you have a Master's degree?, Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software development. Strong understanding of embedded hardware/software interaction. Experience with AUTOSAR configuration and architecture. Familiarity with automotive software development processes (ASPICE). Strong understanding of software architecture principles. Fluent in English.

Technical Skills

Experience with the following is considered a strong asset: Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, DaVinci Configurator/Developer). AUTOSAR Classic or Adaptive Stack (preferably Vector AUTOSAR stack). Bootloader design and HSM firmware development. Static and dynamic code analysis tools and methodologies. Agile software development environments. Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Cybersecurity (ISO 21434). Embedded system debugging and diagnostics. Requirements management and traceability (e.g. Polarion, DOORS). Understanding of OEM requirements (e.g. STLA Brain).
