Job description
- Analysis of functional and technical requirements as well as derivation of suitable solution architectures
- Development of architecture concepts, technical designs, and standards
- Advising internal stakeholders on technologies, architectural principles, and best practices
- Evaluation and selection of suitable technologies, platforms, and system components
- Ensuring the technical quality, scalability, security, and maintainability of the solution
- Supporting the entire software lifecycle - from planning and implementation to operations
- Coordination and alignment with development teams, project managers, and external partners
- Conducting architecture reviews and risk analyses
- Documentation of architectural decisions and relevant technical artifacts
- Supporting the creation of effort estimates and project plans
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in software development or system architecture
- Strong knowledge of modern IT architectures (e.g., cloud, microservices, API design, integration)
- Understanding of common technologies and frameworks depending on the area of application
- Experience with architecture methods and standards (e.g., TOGAF, UML, C4 model)
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
- Structured, analytical mindset and strong quality awareness
- Fluent German and English skills
- Willingness to travel approximately 50%
