Job description
As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will help build and improve real applications while learning how modern development teams use AI responsibly to work faster and smarter. You will have the opportunity to develop across the full software development lifecycle, strengthening your coding, debugging, testing and problem-solving skills. The core stack includes PHP, Laravel and React, but your existing programming language is less important than your curiosity and willingness to learn. AI-assisted coding experience is ideal, and you will have plenty of room to grow as a software engineer.
- Build and enhance applications using PHP, Laravel, React and modern development practices.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development while reviewing and validating generated code.
- Write, test and debug clean, maintainable software across real client projects.
- Support API integrations, databases and front-end features as your technical skills develop.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to solve problems and improve software quality.
- Learn new technologies and development approaches through hands-on project experience.

Requirements
We are looking for a forward-thinking graduate who enjoys solving problems and learning by doing.
Must-Have
- 2:1 degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
- Practical programming experience through university work, projects, placements, or personal development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or similar platforms.
- Exposure to PHP, Laravel, React, JavaScript, APIs, databases or web development.
