Job description

  • Analyze business and technical requirements for mainframe application enhancements and development initiatives
  • Coordinate solution design activities and support overall application architecture planning
  • Design, develop, test, debug, and implement mainframe application code
  • Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation, and production support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of mainframe solutions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting mainframe applications
  • Advanced knowledge of mainframe architectures and enterprise mainframe environments
  • Advanced understanding of mainframe hardware platforms
  • Strong experience with COBOL and mainframe/cobol Rule Mining
  • Supporting full software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities
