Job description

You'll be responsible for overseeing between 1 and 5 projects at a time, with values typically ranging from £200k to £3m. The role is highly varied and will include site visits, client meetings, management updates, procurement, and close coordination with design and commercial teams.

This is a delivery-focused position where you'll be expected to take full ownership of project performance, including P&L responsibility, H&S compliance, resource management, and client satisfaction. You'll also be managing engineers, subcontractors, and contract labour, with support available where needed, including the opportunity to bring in or develop a PE into the role., * Manage projects from design stage through to completion and client handover.

  • Take full responsibility for project delivery, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard.
  • Oversee engineers, subcontractors, and contract labour across multiple live projects.
  • Work closely with design and procurement teams to ensure technical suitability and smooth delivery.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and regular site engagement.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and commercial performance.
  • Prepare and manage procurement paperwork and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are fully maintained at all times.
  • Attend management meetings and provide updates on project progress and performance.
  • Identify opportunities for additional works and support wider project activity where required.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Project management?, * Strong technical background.

  • Experience managing projects in a similar environment.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Organised, commercially aware, and confident working to deadlines.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel.
