Job description
The Software Development Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of developers in the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-level Java applications. This role blends hands-on technical expertise with people leadership, ensuring the team produces scalable, high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives.
This position plays a key role in guiding architecture, maintaining development standards, and driving execution across the full software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is both a strong technical contributor and an effective team leader who can mentor developers, provide direction, and collaborate across Agile teams., * Lead and manage a team of 3 to 5 software developers, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance guidance.
- Drive the design and development of complex Java-based applications aligned with business requirements and technical standards.
- Provide technical leadership to ensure delivery of scalable, resilient, and maintainable software solutions.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to align technical solutions with business goals and project timelines.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and maintain high standards of code quality and performance.
- Support architectural design decisions and contribute to long-term technical strategy.
- Identify opportunities to improve development processes, team efficiency, and overall system performance.
- Ensure consistent delivery of projects while balancing team workload and priorities.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Team development?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading or managing software development teams.
- Strong background in programming languages such as Java, Angular, or JavaScript.
- Experience developing and mentoring technical teams in a collaborative environment.
- Proven experience managing full project lifecycles from concept through delivery.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to balance hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
