Job description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Repairs Planner to join a growing Social Housing and Property Services contractor based in Fobbing.
This opportunity would suit a Repairs Planner, Repairs Scheduler, Maintenance Planner, Works Planner, or Property Services Planner with experience coordinating responsive repairs, maintenance works, void properties, and contractor schedules within Social Housing.
As a Repairs Planner, you will play a vital role in ensuring repairs are scheduled efficiently, tenant appointments are managed effectively, and contractual KPIs are consistently achieved., * Schedule responsive repairs and planned maintenance works across Social Housing properties
- Manage diaries for operatives, engineers, and subcontractors
- Contact tenants to arrange and confirm appointments
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance works, and void property programmes
- Monitor and manage WIP (Work In Progress)
- Ensure all repairs are completed within agreed timescales and client KPIs
- Raise purchase orders and assist with materials coordination
- Update client portals and housing management systems
- Upload photographs, completion evidence, and job notes
- Liaise daily with operatives, supervisors, contract managers, and clients
- Support the delivery of responsive repairs and maintenance contracts
Requirements
Do you have experience in Supervising experience?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, To be successful in this Repairs Planner position, you should have:
- Previous experience as a Repairs Planner, Repairs Scheduler, Maintenance Planner, Works Planner, or Property Services Coordinator
- Experience working within Social Housing, Housing Associations, Local Authorities, or Property Services
- Strong knowledge of responsive repairs and maintenance operations
- Experience scheduling engineers, operatives, or subcontractors
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong administration and planning experience
- Experience managing WIP and outstanding repairs
- Good Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Understanding of NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR) would be highly beneficial
- Experience using housing management systems, client portals, or scheduling software, * A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Administrative experience: 3 years (preferred)
