Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Provider Support Specialist to join a healthcare operations team. This fully remote position supports provider relations, network management, and administrative operations while serving as a key resource for healthcare providers., * Serve as a primary point of contact for healthcare providers and support provider relations activities.
- Educate and assist providers regarding policies, procedures, benefits, and available resources.
- Coordinate administrative support for provider network and contracting teams.
- Research and resolve provider inquiries by collaborating with internal departments.
- Document provider interactions and maintain accurate records in internal systems.
- Assist with onboarding new providers and credentialing follow-up activities.
- Monitor and track provider issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain and verify provider demographic and directory information.
- Support special projects and departmental initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve provider satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Writing skills?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, administrative experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment., * High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of administrative, clerical, customer service, or healthcare support experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong data entry and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred:
- Healthcare, insurance, managed care, or medical office experience.
- Experience in provider relations, claims processing, referral authorization, or provider data maintenance.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
