IT Technician

• Provides services through telephone, email, and face-to-face contact.
• Assembles hardware and installs or deletes software to ensure all hardware and software are working properly.
• Troubleshoots computer equipment to confirm it is running correctly.
• Recovers any lost or accidentally deleted data.
• Aids in plans, designs and implementation of user networks.
• Customer Service skills both on the phone and in person.
• Act as the bridge between Tier1 work and Tier3 Engineers.
• Ability to complete Tier1 and some Tier2 tickets.
• On-Site and remote client support.

A strong proficiency in both Windows and IOS is necessary for this position. There is also a large amount of customer interfacing, so customer service skills are a must., * Identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently

• Server Proficiency including but not limited to: Active Directory and Exchange.

Preferences

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Or comparable Trade School. Preferred, Not Required.
• Experience: 5+ years of relevant work experience preferred.

eSOZO is a Managed Service Provider located in central NJ for over 20 years. We are currently looking for a Technician to work onsite at one of our clients in Morristown, NJ. On average, this role will be on site at the client 4 days a week, and the 5th day would be remote.
