This is a hands-on role focused on SQL development, Snowflake data warehousing, ETL pipeline development, and business reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical fundamentals, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence once per month. Once onboarded, the resource will work closely with the data team to build and maintain ETL pipelines, support data modeling and transformations, and help define analytics-ready datasets used for enterprise reporting. Limited data engineering experience but demonstrates strong attention to detail and a positive, engaged attitude. The person in this role will be a senior analyst, and someone who wants to grow. Eventually they want this person to move into more of an architect role, and help doing the build and planning.

  • Strong SQL experience is mandatory (this role is SQL-heavy)

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake is required

  • Experience with ETL/ELT development, preferably using Azure Data Factory (ADF)

  • Experience with Informatica or Oracle Warehouse Builder is acceptable if ADF experience is limited

  • Hands-on experience with at least one reporting tool, preferably Power BI or Sigma

  • Experience working with large, complex datasets in a business environment

  • Experience working in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure

  • Experience following SDLC processes and supporting production data environments

  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts, data flows, and transformation logic

  • Familiarity with OLAP vs. OLTP design concepts and relational data structures

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Team-oriented mindset with a desire to learn and grow in a modern data platform

  • Ability to independently organize work and manage multiple tasks or projects
