Expand the test scope for AIG CONNECT and insurance system applications, improve quality, and promote automation to reduce incidents and ensure quality and reliability.

Promote validation testing to ensure that AIG CONNECT and insurance system applications meet performance requirements such as processing speed, responsiveness, stability, and scalability, thereby ensuring quality and reliability.

This role is critical to maintaining our competitive edge in the Japanese market by implementing innovative testing strategies, including the integration of generative AI technologies, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and business objectives.

You will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing testing team across multiple locations and coordinating effectively with offshore partners to deliver exceptional testing services.
Job Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management:

Promote shared ownership among related departments, divisions, and stakeholders, and drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve organizational issues.

Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on continuous improvement and excellence in testing practices
Vendor & Offshore Management:
-
Manage and coordinate with India-based offshore vendors to optimize testing capabilities and cost-effectiveness

Establish clear communication protocols, quality standards, and performance metrics for offshore partnerships

Ensure knowledge transfer and maintain consistent testing standards across onshore and offshore teams
Strategic Planning & AI Integration:

Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies leveraging generative AI technologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness

Research, evaluate, and deploy AI-powered testing tools and methodologies

Create roadmaps for digital transformation in testing processes and automation
Operational Excellence:

Ensure testing processes align with regulatory requirements specific to the Japanese insurance industry

Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to define testing requirements

Implement and maintain testing frameworks, standards, and best practices

Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Specific Qualifications

Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and offshore partnerships

Bilingual Communication: Fluency in both Japanese and English (written and verbal)

Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and quality assurance processes

AI & Innovation: Knowledge of generative AI applications in software testing and quality assurance

Insurance Industry Knowledge: Understanding of insurance business processes and regulatory requirements in Japan

Project Management: Strong skills in budget management, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management
Total Experience

8+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance

5+ years of experience in team management and leadership roles

3+ years of experience in vendor management and offshore coordination

Experience in the insurance or financial services industry (preferred)

Proven track record of implementing innovative testing strategies and AI-powered solutions
