An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Network & Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our IT Services team reporting to our Network & Infrastructure Manager.
As a Network & Infrastructure Systems Engineer with Etc. you will be responsible for the maintenance, support, and optimisation of the group's network and IT infrastructure, ensuring a secure, stable, and high performing environment. The role includes monitoring systems, resolving incidents, supporting multi-site infrastructure, maintaining security controls, and contributing to service improvements.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Virtualization?, The ideal candidate will be a proactive IT professional with strong technical expertise in network and infrastructure systems, excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. They will have a strong understanding of security best practices, experience working in a multi-site environment, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively while delivering high quality services.
The successful candidate will have proven experience supporting enterprise level network and infrastructure environments. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, virtualisation platforms, backup and recovery, and network technologies is essential. Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and delivering high-quality customer support is required. Desirable experience includes working within the education sector and familiarity with technologies such as VMware and Aruba networking.
