IT Support

The IT Director at Calvary Christian Academy and Preschool is responsible for overseeing all technological devices and systems, including information systems and system administration. This role covers all IT-related infrastructure, both hardware and software. Key responsibilities include purchasing and configuring laptops for students and staff using Microsoft Entra/Intune, managing IT systems such as printers, audio systems, phones, projectors, and security systems, and administering accounts in Google Suite, Microsoft 365, and other platforms.

The IT Director must stay ahead of the ever-evolving business technology landscape while being available to address any IT system interruptions. This role requires active engagement with school events and the lives of students. As a member of a Christian school, the IT Director has the unique opportunity to exemplify the values and attitudes of a professional and a born-again believer on a daily basis., * Plan and implement improved business solutions, from acquiring hardware to configuring and testing it

• Create and manage accounts for all students and staff in Microsoft Entra and Google Admin
• Edit the official website as needed using FACTS website management
• Manage a multi-layer network with Ubiquiti software
• Oversee student internet traffic and filter content using GoGuardian
• Manage an internal phone server and all associated phones
• Maintain over 8 copiers and printers
• Install and maintain classroom projectors
• Install cameras
• Run sound equipment for school programs

Do you have experience in Windows support?, * Born again believer and a member of a church of like faith and practice to Calvary Baptist Church

· A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

• Understanding of security best practices
• In-depth knowledge of Windows computers
• In-depth knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft 365
• In-depth knowledge of installing hardware and software
