Requirements

performing at peak capacity, and recommend solutions to improve performance and resolve issues Set up desktop computer equipment and install system software, including operating systems and user software packages Plan and test backup and disaster recovery systems and maintain daily backups Analyze all attempted or successful network security breaches daily to determine breach cause, resolve related issues, and secure the network to prevent future infiltration Review and respond to Help Desk tickets Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology or Superintendent of Schools Desired Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience Associate's Degree, Bachelor's degree, and school district experience preferred; 3 to 5 years of network and computer server experience; IT Help Desk and hardware and software testing experience; Network software experience, e.g., HP, Aruba, VMWare; Network monitoring, security, and OS software experience; Appropriate technology certifications Tools & Equipment Used The individual should be familiar with the operation of standard office equipment, including, but not limited to, personal computers, and spreadsheet and word processing software.
