Job description

We are seeking a skilled PHP Web Developer to join our dynamic development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, and maintaining robust web applications and services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilise a wide range of technologies, and contribute to innovative solutions that meet client requirements., * Develop, test, and deploy PHP-based web applications ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

  • Develop CMS and E-commerce websites using frameworks like WordPress and Magneto
  • Implement microservices architecture using frameworks like Laravel
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate seamless data exchange across platforms.
  • Utilise front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue, Bootstrap, and UI frameworks to create engaging user interfaces.
  • Integrate various databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and utilise ORM tools like Entity Framework for efficient data handling.
  • Conduct unit testing using TFS, GitHub, SVN, or similar version control systems; perform debugging to resolve issues promptly.
  • Write clean, scalable code following best practices in OOP principles and design patterns such as MVC.

Requirements

Do you have experience in WordPress?, * Proven experience in PHP development with a strong portfolio of web applications.

  • Proficiency with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including frameworks like Vue or React), AJAX, Bootstrap.
  • Solid understanding of server-side scripting with PHP and frameworks such as Laravel.
  • Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB; familiarity with database design and T-SQL is essential.
  • Ability to develop APIs using REST or SOAP protocols; experience with Web services integration is required.
  • Strong understanding of application security practices and debugging techniques., * Laravel: 2 years (preferred)
  • WordPress: 2 years (preferred)
  • PHP: 2 years (preferred)
