IT Programmer

This position is responsible for maintaining the IBM AS400 Mac-Pac computer operating system utilized throughout the Company, including but not limited to; implementing program changes, system upgrades and processing daily electronic orders. The Programmer position is also responsible for maintaining the Company's telecommunication system., * Evaluate and implement system configurations of the IBM AS400 and Mac-Pac software systems for companywide utilization, including; Sales, Engineering, Operations, Distribution and Production environments.

• Analyze system to determine the configuration that best satisfies business need. Perform root cause analysis and trouble shoot for problem resolution.
• Research and recommend design changes and system improvements taking into account customization and upgrades from previous years.
• Maintain the telecommunication system. Ensure phones are working properly on a daily basis. Maintain the set-up, changes and deletions of extensions.
• Be an effective team-player. Interact and work cross-functionally with all MDI departments.
• Exemplify a professional work demeanor upholding the Company Core Values.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and maintain equipment in proper working condition.
• All other duties as assigned by Management.

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Server troubleshooting?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Ability to multitask and prioritize work to manage multiple projects effectively.

• Ability to interact with employees and vendors to foster a positive work environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Programming

Computer Skills

• RPG Programmer with Mac-Pac software experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Certificates & Licenses

• Valid Drivers License
