Job description

You will work on a wide variety of waterfront projects, including design, surveying, underwater inspections, and regulatory services.

Fieldwork will involve both topside and underwater activities, including inspections, destructive and non-destructive testing, topographic and hydrographic surveying, and construction oversight.

Office-based responsibilities will include structural analysis and design, preparation of drawings and specifications, quantity and cost estimating, and the preparation of engineering assessment reports.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Engineer in Training certification?, Do you have experience in Outdoor work?, Do you have a Master's degree in civil engineering?, * B.S. degree or higher in Civil, Structural or Ocean Engineering.

  • 2-8 years of waterfront engineering and inspection experience.
  • EIT or PE registration.
  • Commercial diving certification (ADCI or equivalent).
  • Practical experience with civil engineering software (AutoCAD)
  • The ability to learn quickly, strong communication skills, and a solid work ethic.
  • Ability and willingness to travel, including overnight, as required.
  • Valid driver's license.

Additional Qualities

  • MS degree with strong Structural, Geotechnical, or Coastal Engineering degree focus.
  • Familiarity with structural analysis software such as STAAD.
  • Experience with topographic or hydrographic surveys.
  • Completed NHI Bridge Inspector Course.
  • Possession of a Boating Safety Certificate.

This role requires a willingness to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting equipment, working outdoors, and accessing challenging structures., * Bachelor's (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Commercial Dive License (ADCI or equivalent) (Required)
