Job description
EiWare is looking for a Junior IT & AI Implementation Technician to help support client onboarding, system setup, and ongoing EiWare build-out. This is an entry-level, hands-on technical role for someone who is comfortable with computers, Windows, basic networking, Microsoft/Azure accounts, troubleshooting, and using AI-assisted coding tools.
You'll help prepare client offices for EiWare by setting up workstations, checking network connectivity, helping configure user access, documenting issues, and working with our team to get clients live as smoothly as possible. You'll also assist with EiWare development tasks, AI-assisted coding, testing, documentation, and internal technical projects.
This is a good fit for someone early in their tech career who learns quickly, communicates well, enjoys solving problems, and is excited about using AI tools to build real software.
Duties

Assist with new client implementation and system setup for EiWare

Travel to client offices when needed to help with setup, testing, and troubleshooting

Set up and verify Windows computers, monitors, printers, scanners, and basic office equipment

Help troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra user access, login, permissions, and device issues

Check basic network connectivity, including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, routers, switches, and cabling

Help test EiWare features, workflows, forms, reports, and client-specific configurations

Assist with AI-supported coding tasks under supervision

Use tools like ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Replit, or similar AI coding tools to help research, draft, test, and debug code

Help document bugs, client requests, setup steps, and technical processes

Support internal EiWare build-out projects, automation, reporting, and workflow improvements

Communicate clearly with client staff during on-site visits

Follow setup checklists and document completed work, open issues, and next steps

Escalate complex issues to senior team members when needed, This is a hybrid role combining entry-level IT support, client implementation, AI-assisted coding, testing, and software build-out support. It is not a senior software engineer position, but it is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a technical product/development role.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Trade school?, Entry-level IT experience, technical school, certifications, coding bootcamp, college coursework, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred

Comfortable working with Windows computers, Microsoft 365, printers, and basic networking

Basic understanding of user accounts, passwords, permissions, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and office hardware

Some exposure to coding, scripting, databases, web apps, or AI coding tools preferred

Willingness to learn software development concepts and use AI tools responsibly

Ability to troubleshoot calmly and work through problems step by step

Strong communication skills and a professional attitude with clients

Reliable transportation and willingness to visit client offices as needed

Organized, dependable, curious, and willing to learn

Experience with Azure, Entra ID, SQL, JavaScript, Python, healthcare software, or business software is a plus, but not required

We're looking for someone dependable, curious, and practical - someone who can show up at a client office, follow a checklist, communicate clearly, troubleshoot basic issues, and also help push EiWare forward using modern AI-assisted coding tools.
