Job description

Ginsey Home Solutions is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Part-Time Network & Support Technician to assist the Digital Services team with day-to-day technical support, workstation deployments, hardware setup, and basic network troubleshooting.

This position is ideal for an early-career IT professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing and distribution environment. The technician will work closely with the Director of Digital Services and assist with supporting approximately 70 employees across office and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and deploy computers, monitors, printers, and peripherals.
  • Assist employees with basic hardware and software issues.
  • Troubleshoot Windows PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and equipment preparation.
  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting.
  • Support wireless access points, switches, and internet connectivity.
  • Maintain IT inventory and asset records.
  • Document procedures and technical records.
  • Assist with technology projects and conference room equipment., * 1-2 days per week. Flexible scheduling based on business needs and candidate availability. Additional hours may be available during major projects and onboarding activities.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High School Diploma or GED

  • Technical school coursework, college coursework, or equivalent hands-on IT experience.
  • Basic understanding of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, and networking fundamentals.
  • Must have experience supporting users in past. People skills are a must, our employees are our teams customers.

Preferred:

  • Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent coursework.
  • Experience building or repairing PCs.
  • Previous Help Desk or technical support experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in office and warehouse environments.
  • Ability to crawl under desks and move equipment when required., This position is designed for someone with strong technical aptitude who wants practical experience supporting users, networks, and business technology in a real-world environment. Or an experienced individual looking for part time work.
