Job description
Our Client is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) team. This is an entry-level opportunity with training provided for candidates eager to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment. The FSQA Technician supports food safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products meet company, customer, and food safety standards., * Review production line parameters and performance to ensure compliance with Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Guidelines, and Facility Procedures.
- Test raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods according to established quality specifications.
- Generate, prepare, and ship samples for external analytical testing.
- Maintain and support the facility's Quality Program and Food Safety Plan.
- Document testing results, product holds, internal investigations, corrective actions, and root cause analyses.
- Maintain and verify calibration of quality control instruments and equipment.
- Conduct monthly facility inspections to ensure equipment and facilities operate properly and meet quality standards.
- Ensure products comply with company, customer, and regulatory food safety and quality requirements.
- Conduct audits to verify adherence to SOPs and identify opportunities for food safety and quality improvements.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to support food safety and quality objectives.
- Escalate quality or food safety concerns to supervisors when appropriate.
- Follow established food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures consistently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Teamwork?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Manufacturing-related education or coursework is a plus.
- Previous FSQA experience is not required; training will be provided.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and similar computer applications.
