Job description

  • Safety and Compliance: Establish and oversee the implementation of safety practices and protocols. Ensure compliance with Vestas's organizational standards and safety regulations.

  • Operational Effectiveness: Cultivate a culture of safety, structure, and continuous improvement. Communicate change management effectively to stakeholders.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of Service Technicians. Ensure team members are compliant with safety training and certifications. Build internal and external partnerships.

  • Customer Relations: Interface with customers, address inquiries, and collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues. Ensure all contractual obligations are met.

  • Financial Management: Manage site budgets, cost allocations, and operational revenues. Input and ensure accurate data in systems like Salesforce and SAP.

  • Continuous Improvement: Develop and deliver continuous improvement plans. Implement LEAN practices at the site.

  • Technical Assistance: Provide technical support to Service Technicians for diagnosing and resolving issues. Ensure team adherence to work instructions and propose improvements.

  • Travel Requirements: This is a 100% travel position. You may be assigned to any service site within your designated region and occasionally to sites in other regions based on business needs.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Two-way radios?, * Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.

  • Valid driver's license required; ability to obtain a passport.

  • Experience in P&L management

  • Experience managing safety programs

  • Advanced computer operation and internet-based program navigation skills.

  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.

  • Hearing ability to use telephones, close range radios or related device.

  • Visual acuity including depth perception, field of vision and the ability to distinguish between colors.

  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as needed, as well as visual-motor coordination and manual dexterity.

  • Ability to climb stairs & vertical ladders to heights of 60 to 100 meters and at times supervise work in confined space environments.

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, carry items up to, but not more than 50 lbs. in weight.

  • Ability to observe training and obtain certification in required safety programs that include LOTO, Electrical, Fall Arrest & High Angle Emergency Decent, and Confined Space.

  • Ability to complete all training courses, including controlled decent practical exercises.
