The Administrative Specialist provides administrative support and team coordination for Henderson Building Solutions, working under general supervision to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. Drawing on strong organizational and communication skills, this role spends most of its time coordinating calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing and managing events. The Administrative Specialist also provides project and program support as needed, assisting project managers to coordinate aspects of project. This role partners closely with team members and other members of management to ensure the team stays organized, informed, and well-supported., * Provides administrative support for a team which includes distributing mail, filing documents, ordering supplies, managing inventory, scanning documents, etc
- Reviews and answers correspondence
- Conducts research, prepares statistical reports and spreadsheets, and prepares presentations
- If working in a national office, performs additional office support activities
- Other duties as assigned
- Coordinates calendars and schedules team meetings and employee reviews/touchpoints
- Organizes and promotes team events such as Give Backs and celebrations
- Assists with onboarding activities for new hire
- Manages and records team budgets and expenditures
- Assists with team expense reports
- Coordinates team travel
- Acts as team liaison to other members of management

Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1 year relevant experience required
- Previous office experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Software, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work with PC/Windows, iPads, and Dropbox
- Excellent computer and typing skills
- Must demonstrate proficiency in all core competencies as described and characterized in this job description
Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
