Job description
We are seeking a highly technical Product Owner to lead the modernization of core financial systems, specifically focused on new account processing and credit risk platforms. This role is not a traditional product role - it is deeply technology-driven, requiring hands-on involvement in AWS migrations, system architecture discussions, and Agile execution.

- Partner closely with engineering teams to define and refine technical requirements, user stories, and backlog priorities
- Lead and support Scrum teams, ensuring Agile best practices and delivery consistency
- Manage and maintain JIRA boards, ensuring all work is clearly defined, tracked, and aligned to delivery goals
- Translate complex technical initiatives into actionable backlog items for engineering teams
- Collaborate with architects and developers on cloud migration strategies, system integrations, and modernization efforts
- Ensure alignment between business objectives (credit risk, account opening) and technical execution
- Drive end-to-end delivery accountability from planning through production release, * Focused on modernizing core financial systems, not just maintaining them
- Highly technical and execution-driven - ideal for someone who prefers working closely with engineering teams
- Opportunity to influence cloud strategy and architecture decisions
- Direct impact on critical customer-facing systems (account opening, risk evaluation)
