Job description

Ecolab Digital Solutions is looking for a Principal Architect to join our commercial architecture team focused on delivering digital solutions and strategies for our customer product offerings. The person selected for this role will work with the business stakeholders and product teams to conceptualize, design, and deliver extensible and scalable digital products and solutions. This includes AI, connected devices (IOT), mobile applications, analytics solutions, and other digital tools. The role requires strong architectural skills across domains, as well as good communication, collaboration and influencing skills.

A person in this role will serve as an advisor and resident expert in solution architecture with an emphasis on establishing composable / modular services that can be leveraged by digital products across the portfolio.This role will provide architectural guidance and ensure business-technology alignment and integration across Ecolab in alignment with Enterprise Architecture & Security Standards.

What you will be doing:

Establish and maintain a trusted advisor relationship with business, product, & engineering teams & leaders in Ecolab Digital

Provide technical and architectural leadership for Ecolab Digital connected IoT, cloud innovation, and mobile solutions

Develop and maintain strategic architecture plans & capability roadmaps with phasing and estimation across the Global Institutional portfolio

Provide objective and unbiased analysis, balancing short and long-term objectives, customer needs, business constraints, and technological realities

Participate in strategic and operational planning processes including product PI planning

Provide data and information management guidance to enable scalable analytics and insights driving customer, associate and Ecolab performance

Manage global view of systems landscape & architecture for Ecolab Digital regions

Ensuring alignment of Ecolab Digital with Enterprise Architecture and Security Standards

Actively participate in technical/business requirements, technology choices and partnerships

Stay apprised of changes in relevant trends and technologies

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience

10 years of experience working in IT

3 years of experience partnering with business leaders to develop technical strategies, architecture and road maps to support their objectives

5 years working with Microsoft .NET and Visual Studio and related Microsoft Development Tools and technologies

5 years of combined experience in at least three of the following disciplines - solution architecture, infrastructure architecture, application architecture, data architecture, business architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience

Experience with Salesforce.com Platform

Experience working with solutions delivery teams using Agile/Scrum ore similar methodologies

2 years of experience designing solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure Platform-as-a-Service components

Exceptional written, verbal & presentation skills

Exceptional interpersonal skills including collaboration, facilitation and influencing, Bachelor Degree

Benefits & conditions

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $166,300.00 - $249,600.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
