Job description
Job Duties: Lead the MSFT Azure cloud engineering team and drive strategy, account design, security policies, compliance as code, and operational optimization. Develop cloud automations, patterns, associated security and compliance guardrails, and automations to meet application hosting requirements. Drive the maturity of the Azure service, responsible for reference architectures, solution designs, roadmaps, work allocations, and the direct management of the Azure engineering and software development team. Engage with server, database, and application teams as well as Azure external specialists and forums to remain current on industry trends. Use a combination of cloud-native services and custom-built software to deliver and support cloud capacities. Set software development standards for the team. Work collaboratively with strategic external partners, global leaders, and executives across the business and technology to understand technology needs, define and shape public cloud automation to align with technology needs, and improve the overall reliability and performance of services offered. Lead and participate on cross-functional teams, gain alignment and drive decision making with CLOUDx and application teams.
Requirements
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a Sr. Cloud Engineer-related occupation.
