Contribute as an active Software Tester on the Team to deliver product stories

Develop Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance Criteria

Write comprehensive Test Cases to verify Product functionality
-
Contribute during Sprint Planning to ensure all Testing concerns are discussed and accommodated in the story sizing
-
Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define key End User Workflows
-
Define, create and maintain Test environments
-
Validate Functionality according to Requirements/Stories
-
Verify Development changes have no undesired effect on other, associated areas of Functionality
-
Identify, communicate and document Bugs in a consistent fashion
-
Track Bugs through resolution and implementation
Requirements
-
Bachelor or Master Degree from a recognized university in petroleum engineering or equivalent degree with minimum GPA 7.5 and above
-
Min 2 yrs. of QA experience (Experience with Oil and Gas Upstream applications preferred)
-
Good understanding of upstream applications. (Preferred: EDT Applications)

Knowledge of one or more of the basic wells engineering concepts including:
o Well construction - drilling techniques, well control, fluids property management, drilling mechanics, performance monitoring
o Well completions - completion designs, well performance analysis,
-
Experience with engineering applications such as WellCat, Wellplan, Compass will be an advantage.

Basic understanding of Framework creation using any of the Automation tool.

Experience with SDLC/STLC processes and complete understanding of various testing types viz Smoke, Functional, Integration, Performance, Regression and User Acceptance Testing etc.

ISTQB foundation level certified (Optional)

Well versed with Test Case creation, Defect and Test Management tool (Azure DevOps/TFS, JIRA)

Comfortable with Agile methodologies

Excellent Communication Skills
