Job description
MCE is seeking an Asset Management / GIS Analyst to support the implementation and ongoing management of a modern, GIS-centric asset management system (Computerized Maintenance Management System - CMMS). This position will play a key role in improving how infrastructure assets and maintenance activities are planned, tracked, and reported.
The Analyst will support the transition from a basic work-order tracking approach to a fully integrated asset management platform that includes GIS integration, preventive and reactive maintenance scheduling, infrastructure inventory management, mobile field access, and advanced reporting., * Support implementation, configuration, and administration of a CMMS/asset management platform

Maintain and improve integration between asset management systems and GIS

Assist in developing and maintaining a comprehensive inventory of infrastructure assets

Assist in establishing preventive and reactive maintenance schedules and service level tracking

Standardize work order processes including assignment, tracking, and reporting

Develop maps, dashboards, and reports to support operational decision-making

Assist with system testing, data validation, and ongoing process improvements

Provide training and technical support to field staff and supervisors

Support deployment and use of mobile devices for field-based work management

Collaborate with operations staff to improve planning, scheduling, and tracking of maintenance activities, * Ensure field staff can access and update work orders in real time

Support electronic documentation and illustration of labor, materials, equipment, and job completion

Promote accurate field data entry at the point of service

Support use of digital preventive maintenance checklists and inspections
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems integration?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Information Systems, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Intermediate experience with GIS platforms

Familiarity with CMMS or asset management systems

Strong technical and systems integration aptitude

Experience in public works, utilities, infrastructure, or municipal operations preferred, * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to translate operational needs into system workflows

High attention to detail and data accuracy

Strong communication and training skills
-
Ability to work collaboratively with operations and technical teams, Experience with CMMS platforms such as Brightly Asset Essentials or similar systems
Experience supporting implementation or software deployment projects
Experience creating reports, dashboards, or spatial data projects
Experience training end users in technical systems
