Software Engineer (Fullstack, AI Platform)

As a Senior Software Engineer on the AI team, you will play a key role in building and scaling the systems that power WHOOP AI's internal and member-facing experiences. You will work across the stack to deliver high-quality features, contribute to agent orchestration system architecture, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to create seamless and impactful user experiences. This role is ideal for an engineer who is passionate about building reliable, scalable applications and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment., * Work in a cross-functional team alongside product managers, designers, and data scientists to deliver end-to-end features

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end systems using modern frameworks and cloud technologies
• Design and build intuitive user interfaces and integrate them with robust backend APIs to deliver seamless member experiences
• Contribute to feature ideation, technical design, and implementation, translating business requirements into scalable solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, following best practices for performance, security, and reliability
• Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues while continuously improving system performance and stability

• 2-5 years of professional software development experience
• Experience building and maintaining high-quality, performant web applications using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS
• Experience designing and developing APIs (RESTful services preferred)
• Experience building solutions leveraging Large Language Models
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to break down complex problems into manageable solutions
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• A growth mindset with a strong desire to learn, iterate, and improve continuously

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $215,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.

In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.
