Job description

Our client, a leading organization in the high-tech manufacturing sector, is seeking a Semiconductor Technician to join their team. As a Semiconductor Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Support Department supporting the development and maintenance of advanced semiconductor equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization., + Assist in the development and troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including lithography and optical inspection systems.

  • Support the design, layout, and bring-up of industrial control panels and PCBs, ensuring compliance with signal integrity, EMI/EMC, and safety standards.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes, yield, and cycle times.

  • Participate in experiments to characterize and enhance complex lithography and inspection systems.

  • Work with software teams to examine code, develop system test requirements, and improve troubleshooting protocols.

What's Needed?

Requirements

  • Proven experience in semiconductor equipment support or related technical roles, with 5+ years of responsible engineering or product development experience.

  • Strong knowledge of circuit design, lithography, and optical systems; familiarity with design tools such as Altium Designer, AutoCad, Solidworks, OrCAD, SPICE, or MATLAB is highly desirable.

  • Experience working with embedded systems, PLCs, FPGAs, or microcontrollers.

  • Detail-oriented with a structured approach to troubleshooting and process improvement.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
