Job description

Architect a zero-trust GitLab infrastructure that limits communication to the absolute minimum.

  • Build secure remote sync mechanisms for cross-team collaboration and collaboration with outside developers

Implement comprehensive scanning (code/IP, static analysis, malware) and image-repo security.

  • Seamlessly integrate GitLab pipelines with VMWare or Red Hat OpenShift using GitOps (Flux/ArgoCD) for application deployment.

  • Deliver clean, Wiki-compatible documentation.

  • Deliver clean network architecture and data flow diagrams.

  • Engage proactively in planning, daily stand-ups, updates to Department manager and knowledge transfer to empower the team.

Requirements

2+ years of experience building and architecting GitLab environments from scratch

  • Scripting experience with Bash or Python

  • Proficient with VMware

  • IaC experience with Terraform or Ansible

  • Exposure to AWS

  • Understanding of networking principles and security concepts

  • Ability to create documents for progress and training - Understanding of DevOps and how infrastructure needs to get setup

  • Banking or financial services experience

  • Experience with Red Hat OpenShift

  • Any relevant certifications
