Job description

In this role, the successful candidate will act as the lead Network Architect for CDTFA, including all aspects of the enterprise network. In addition, the Network Architect will provide guidance to and mentor other members of the network and information technology teams, delegate responsibilities to other Network Administrators, and monitor network performance.The ideal candidate will be an expert in networking technology, including: public cloud networking (Azure and AWS), switching, routing, firewalls, as well as networking concepts, topologies, and technologies. Requirements

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

  • Knowledge of interoperability of multiple architectural platforms and systems.

  • Knowledge of the development and application of technology in the business environment.

  • Ability to produce technical enterprise level architectural design outputs.

  • Ability to provide architecture consulting services to Agencies/Departments.

  • Strong leadership skills to facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise technology systems and design.

  • Experience in delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences.

  • Excellent written skills for preparing reports and briefings.

  • Ability to bridge the strategic intent and practical application across multiple domains.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplined work groups.

  • Skills with leading efforts to create technological solutions and architectures impacting critical areas of the business.

  • Formal business and IT architecture training/education.

Benefits & conditions

$9,507.00 - $12,740.00 per Month New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.
