Job description
Oxendale Auto Group is looking for an organized, customer-focused IT Support Specialist to support our employees across multiple dealership locations.
This position is responsible for the day-to-day technology needs of the organization, including employee support, Microsoft 365 administration, equipment management, vendor coordination, and technology projects. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and taking ownership of technology operations that keep our dealerships running efficiently.
This role works closely with our third-party IT provider and serves as the primary point of contact for internal technology support.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for employee technology issues including computers, printers, phones, mobile devices, and Microsoft applications.
- Create, maintain, and manage Microsoft 365 accounts, email addresses, licenses, permissions, and distribution groups.
- Maintain the organization's phone directory, extension list, and user assignments, coordinating changes with our phone service providers as needed.
- Coordinate technology onboarding and offboarding for all new hires and terminations.
- Order, configure, deploy, and replace computers, monitors, phones, printers, and other technology equipment.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of company technology assets and software licenses.
- Coordinate with third-party technology vendors to ensure issues are resolved quickly and projects remain on schedule.
- Assist with workstation setups, office moves, and new dealership or department projects.
- Provide basic employee training and support for Microsoft 365 applications.
- Research and recommend technology improvements, software solutions, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Help develop and maintain technology standards, documentation, and procedures.
- Travel between dealership locations as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Computer hardware?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows-based computers.
- Ability to troubleshoot common hardware and software issues.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Experience
- Microsoft 365 administration, including user accounts, licensing, and permissions.
- Computer deployment, equipment management, and asset tracking.
- Experience supporting users in a multi-location business environment.
- Familiarity with dealership software such as Dealertrack or similar business systems.
- Experience working with third-party IT vendors.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
