Job description

The IT Technician is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to employees,maintaining computer systems and network infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and

security of company technology resources. This position supports hardware, software,printers, network devices, and manufacturing systems while delivering excellent customer

service and timely problem resolution. The ideal candidate is a motivated problem solver with strong technical aptitude and a desire to continuously learn and grow., * Provide first and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, software applications, and user accounts.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues and resolve support tickets in a timely manner.
  • Set up new employee workstations, email accounts, and access permissions.
  • Assist with management and maintenance of Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • Support network infrastructure including switches, wireless access points, and internet connectivity.
  • Monitor and maintain backup systems and assist with disaster recovery procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches on computers and servers.
  • Document issues, solutions, inventory, and procedures to maintain accurate IT records.
  • Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, antivirus management, and user awareness practices.
  • Support manufacturing equipment, barcode scanners, label printers, and warehouse technology systems as needed.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers when necessary.
  • Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Productivity software support?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 1-5 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi.
  • Experience troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting manufacturing or warehouse environments.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and user account administration.
  • Experience with printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
  • Knowledge of backup systems and cybersecurity best practices.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
  • Exposure to ERP, MES, or production systems is beneficial.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk throughout office, warehouse, and manufacturing areas.
  • Occasional after-hours or weekend support may be required.
