Job description
The PLEX ERP System Analyst works closely with business stakeholders across multiple departments to ensure the system effectively supports operational requirements, improves efficiency, and aligns with organizational objectives.
Performance Seats utilizes the PLEX ERP system to support customer order management, procurement, manufacturing operations, inventory management, and financial processes. This position is responsible for leading efforts related to day-to-day support, new module implementations, business process improvements, system workflow support, project coordination, electronic data interchange (EDI) support, and overall PLEX ERP system administration., PLEX ERP Support:
- Provide day-to-day support for the PLEX ERP system, including troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by business users.
- Analyze recurring issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve system stability and business processes.
- Configure and maintain PLEX ERP functionality to meet evolving business requirements.
- Design, create, and modify business workflows within PLEX ERP to improve operational efficiency.
- Support the implementation and activation of new PLEX ERP modules, features, and enhancements.
- Manage application change control processes, ensuring proper documentation, testing, and approval of system modifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.
Electronic Data Interface (EDI):
- Configure and maintain EDI communications, connections, and security certificates.
- Develop and support EDI document mappings based on customer and supplier specifications.
- Troubleshoot EDI transaction issues and support users with document retransmissions, error resolution, and operational questions.
- Coordinate testing activities with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of new EDI transactions.
- Gather and document business requirements for new EDI integrations, documents, and forms.
Project Management:
- Project Management wherever nominated as Project Manager for projects such as system improvement, expansion, or application integration.
- Project scoping, estimation of efforts and budgeting for new workloads.
- Hold module owners accountable to drive progress, decision and system improvements.
- Prepare and maintain status reports to present progress to Leadership.
- Manage system administration activities for customer business portals and internal databases.

Education and/or Experience
- Must have strong understanding of integration of all modules using PLEX ERP system.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems is desired or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Time Management Skills
- Ability to travel approximately 10-15%.
- Willingness to be on call 24x7 VIA cell phone.
Communication Skills
- Must possess excellent interpersonal communications skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the tools and processes required by the role.

Computer Skills
- The ability to provide technical help to non-IT computer users responding to phone and email requests for help.
- Proficient in Office 365 environment, (i.e. Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience working with a formal change control process.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
2-3 Years of PLEX Experience in Manufacturing.
