Job description

Enterprise Programmer Analyst III role, Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, documenting, modifying, and maintaining computer systems and software applications, including prototypes, in accordance with user or system design specifications and business requirements. Perform systems analysis and participate in the planning, evaluation, and enhancement of new and existing systems, including managing system interfaces and conducting feasibility studies. Developing, reviewing, and maintaining programming code for custom, existing, and vendor-supplied applications, including applying upgrades and implementing enhancements to improve functionality, adapting to technology changes, and correcting application errors. Researching, designing, documenting, and maintaining software specifications and solutions throughout the application life cycle. Developing, documenting, and maintaining application programming interfaces (APIs) and integration solutions between enterprise applications. Providing ongoing, This position is designated as involving access to critical infrastructure systems and/or research, as defined by Texas Executive Order GA-48. As such, candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment. Employees are required to comply with all applicable state and federal regulations related to the protection of critical infrastructure. Ongoing employment is dependent upon maintaining eligibility for access and successfully passing periodic security and compliance reviews., Adherence to robust safety practices and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations are responsibilities of all TTU employees.

Requirements

operational support for ERP and other software systems. Performing additional programming and support tasks as assigned by management. Requires Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related or, alternatively, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related & 24 months experience. Participate in rotational 24-hour on-call schedule. Teleworking is permitted within the city of Lubbock, Texas. Passing a drug test is a condition of employment in this position.
