Job description

This person will install, modify, and make minor repairs to computer hardware and software systems. Following

design or installation specifications, install or assist in installation of hardware and peripheral components such

as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives at user work area. Loads or grants access to specified software

packages. Replace defective or inadequate software packages. Perform other duties as required. Escalates

complex problems as necessary

  1. Support end-user hardware including workstations, printers, faxes, copiers,

and wireless and telecommunication systems.

  1. Support end-user standard workstation software and systems, including the

current application suite (including e-mail), remote connectivity

(including VPN), browser and antivirus solutions.

  1. General connectivity troubleshooting.

  2. IT equipment asset tracking.

  3. Utilize an internal call tracking system for end-user incident management

and reporting.

  1. Interacts with HGH Staff and vendors to resolve basic help desk issues;

communicates with HGH staff and vendors in a professional manner maintaining

confidentiality.

  1. Works with all user levels.

  2. Assists with the inventory management of software licenses, software,

hardware, and other IT supplies.

  1. Keeps workroom neat, organized and secure.

  2. Promotes responsible usage and care of corporate equipment.

  3. Relays relevant IT-related information to the company in a timely manner.

  4. Participates in the implementation and support of IT -related policies.

  5. Travels between onsite campus buildings and offsite buildings.

  6. Maintains confidentiality of all patient/resident/staff information.

  7. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Computer hardware?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Must be self motivated and able to work independently with minimal direction or supervision.

Preferred Minimum Education:

College graduate with emphasis in information technology, management information services, computer

science or a closely related field and/or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the

required knowledge, skills and abilities

Personal Qualifications:

Able to read, write and speak the English language in an understandable manner

Knowledge of information technology

Knowledge of data and voice communication systems

Knowledge of management information systems

Knowledge of local area networks (LAN)

Knowledge of wide area networks (WAN)

Knowledge of client/server network protocols and internet/intranet applications

Ability to install and troubleshoot PC systems

Possess leadership ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional

personnel

Self-motivated, resourceful and well organized
