ERP Business Systems Developer

Instead, we're looking for someone who enjoys working directly with business users to understand operational challenges, improve workflows, build reporting and dashboards, and customize an ERP platform to better support project-based operations.

The company has been using its ERP system for approximately three years and has a clear vision for the enhancements they want to make. They're looking for someone who can gather requirements, recommend solutions, and build those enhancements.

While Epicor Kinetic experience is highly preferred, we're also interested in professionals with strong customization and development experience in other modern ERP platforms such as Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, IFS, SAP, Plex, or similar enterprise ERP systems.

What You'll Do

• Meet with business users, project managers, accounting, operations, and leadership to gather business requirements
• Analyze current workflows and recommend system improvements
• Customize and enhance ERP functionality using C#
• Improve project visibility throughout the lifecycle of customer jobs
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, reports, and executive reporting
• Improve workflow automation and business processes
• Enhance job costing, scheduling, project tracking, and operational reporting
• Configure or customize ERP workflows to better support day-to-day operations
• Build solutions that improve user adoption and operational efficiency
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver practical business solutions

• Experience supporting, developing, or optimizing enterprise ERP systems
• Strong C# development experience
• Experience customizing ERP workflows and business processes
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, and operational KPIs
• Strong SQL skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with business users
• Experience supporting project-based or manufacturing environments is highly preferred
