Job description

Communication Solutions, LLC, a leading telecommunications company based in Springfield, Missouri, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure while ensuring employees have reliable, secure, and efficient technology resources. As an IT Administrator, you will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, manage Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments, administer RingCentral, support system security initiatives, and provide exceptional technical support to end users. The role also includes maintaining user accounts, deploying updates, monitoring system performance, and helping ensure the reliability of the company's technology infrastructure. These responsibilities align with common IT administrator practices for Microsoft-based environments.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and security groups.
  • Support and maintain RingCentral phone systems and user administration.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and business applications.
  • Perform routine system updates, patch management, and endpoint maintenance.
  • Assist with cybersecurity best practices, antivirus protection, and system security.
  • Maintain IT documentation, inventory, and technical procedures.
  • Work closely with staff to deliver prompt, professional customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and possess strong technical and problem-solving skills while supporting the company's IT infrastructure and daily technology operations.
