Job description
InGenesis is currently seeking a Research & Data Analyst to work with our client. In this role, you will support applied research, program evaluation, and reporting activities across education, workforce-development, healthcare, and related projects. The analyst will conduct quantitative analyses, prepare technical reports, update evaluation products, and communicate findings to research and program teams., * Conduct descriptive and inferential statistical analyses using survey, administrative, and program data.
- Clean, merge, validate, and document datasets from multiple sources.
- Score surveys and assessment measures according to established protocols.
- Produce summary tables, figures, dashboards, and technical appendices.
- Calculate and interpret common evaluation metrics, including frequencies, percentages, means, standard deviations, effect sizes, correlations, regression models, and subgroup comparisons.
- Update existing reports and evaluation products as new data become available.
- Support development of technical reports, grant reports, manuscripts, presentations, and stakeholder-facing products.
- Translate statistical findings into clear language for non-technical audiences.
- Maintain organized analytic documentation and reproducible workflows.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
This role is ideal for someone with strong quantitative and reporting skills who can work independently to transform complex data into clear, accurate, and actionable information for a variety of stakeholders., * Master's degree (or advanced graduate training) in Statistics, Educational Research, Psychology, Public Health, Data Science, Economics, Sociology, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 2 years of experience conducting quantitative analyses for research, evaluation, or applied analytics projects.
- Proficiency in R, SAS, SPSS, Stata, Python, or similar statistical software.
- Experience working with survey, administrative, or program evaluation data.
- Strong written communication and technical reporting skills., * Experience supporting federally funded, state-funded, or grant-funded research and evaluation projects.
- Familiarity with education, workforce development, healthcare, early childhood, or social service programs.
- Experience producing stakeholder-facing reports and data visualizations.
- Experience conducting subgroup analyses and longitudinal analyses.
