Job description
- Design and implement core Zero Trust principles, ensuring continuous verification across all networks, devices, and users.
- Build, configure, and monitor security controls across an Azure environment.
- Architect and maintain enterprise-wide DLP strategies to prevent unauthorized data exfiltration across endpoints, cloud, and network channels.
- Engineer automated data classification systems to discover, label, and secure sensitive assets at scale.
- Deploy and optimize Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solutions to unify security data across endpoints, networks, and cloud workloads.
- Secure pipelines and leverage AI-driven tooling to automate threat detection and response capabilities.
- Architect modern Identity Protection solutions, including phishing-resistant MFA, conditional access policies, and privileged access management (PAM).
- Conduct technical vulnerability scans and manage penetration testing to eliminate security flaws.
- Design and launch automated phishing simulations and gamified security training tailored to technical and non-technical staff.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly technical and forward-thinking Information Security Engineer to design, build, and maintain our advanced defense infrastructure. In this role, you will secure our modern digital footprint by engineering cutting-edge cloud architectures, embedding artificial intelligence safeguards, and implementing robust identity protections. The Information Security Engineer will also support security and compliance initiatives and assessments. Successful applicants are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have the technical acumen to support day-to-day security related issues., * 2-5 years of experience in information security or systems administration roles
- Experience engineering secure cloud architectures, identity solutions, and/or threat detection platforms.
- Deep understanding of modern authentication protocols like SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.
- Hands-on experience with Next-Gen Firewalls, DLP enforcement, Vulnerability Management, XDR, CloudSec, IAM, and/or Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools.
- Strong analytical skills to dissect complex security anomalies and engineering failures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical engineering experience.
- Proven work experience as an Information Security Specialist, Security Administrator, Identity and Access Management Analyst, Junior Security Consultant or similar role
- Understanding of security risk scenarios including threats and vulnerabilities
- Experience with defining and enforcing security best practices in a corporate environment
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university in in computer science, cybersecurity, or equivalent practical engineering experience.
- 2+ years of information security or systems administration roles.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
