Job description
Client is seeking experienced SAP ABAP backend developers for a long-term contract role through the end of 2026. The consultant will build custom applications within an S/4HANA environment and must be capable of independently developing complex ABAP solutions from high-level functional design documents., * Develop complex custom ABAP solutions in an S/4HANA environment.
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams on solution design and analysis.
- Develop using OO ABAP, CDS Views, RFC, BAPI, and BADI.
- Extend and integrate existing custom applications.
- Resolve defects during testing phases.
- Follow development standards and change management processes.
- Understand application architecture and database structures.

Requirements
Must Have Skills:
- S/4HANA
- Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP)
- RFC

- CDS Views
- AMDP
- RAP Model
- Strong communication skills, * Strong experience with S/4HANA and OO ABAP.
- Expertise in CDS Views, OData, and RAP framework.
- Experience with full lifecycle ABAP custom development.
- Hands-on experience with AMDP.
- Ability to work independently from functional specifications.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to SAP UI5 architecture.
- Knowledge of new S/4HANA syntax and best practices.
