Job description
The Classified Infrastructure Services department for Raytheon Digital Technology provides the expertise in Data Center Management, Network Operations, and High-Performance Computing that our programs and Engineering teams rely upon and use daily fulfill their missions. As a Network Engineer, you will bring advanced knowledge networking technologies to support multiple program Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs).
This is an onsite position at our site in Forest, MS.
What You Will Do:
- Lead major network projects
- Provide high-level technical support with advanced troubleshooting and triage
- Deploy and sustain air-gapped networks supporting 24/7 factory operations
- Provide compliance and audit resolution and mitigation
- Help train and mentor junior team members

Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
- Experience as network engineer within a Cisco-based Networking environment such as Wide Area Network (WAN) or other types.
- Experience administering Cisco Networking products such as Identity Services Engine (ISE) or others.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance., * CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent 8570 IAT Level II or 8140 Intermediate for Network Operations Specialist) and Associate-level Cisco certification (e.g. CCNA). Strongly preferred.
- Effective customer service skills, including oral and written communications
- Experience installing and operating SNMP-based network management tools (e.g. SolarWinds)
- Experience configuring and operating NSA-approved Type-1 encryption devices
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation such as network diagrams

- Flexible spending account, The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
