Minimum Education Requirements: Associate's degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent Direct Supervisor: Director of Information Technology Supervisory Responsibility: None Primary Work Location: Office or Remote Sites Desired Certification(s): Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA Security+ Experience: Two (2) years with Cisco, Meraki, Voice over IP (VoIP), Satellite, and Cellular Router Systems Summary Under the supervision of the Information Technology Director, the Network Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining the network and system infrastructure that supports all City Departments data communications networks and computer systems., * Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid and concise conclusions.
- Effectively communicate complex subject matter both verbally and in writing.

- Microsoft 365/Office 365/Exchange Online administration and support
- Microsoft server and client operating systems (setup, config, and migration)
- Server cluster architecture
- Server virtualization technologies and Switches
- Microsoft PowerShell and other scripting languages
- Familiar with NIST 800-171 compliance requirements
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid and concise conclusions.
- Exceptional technical documentation writing skills

SICK LEAVE: After 30 days of full-time employment, employees accrue 1 day (8 hrs.) sick leave per month.
