Job description
As an IT Field Technician you are responsible for delivering on-site technology support for our clients field equipment. This includes installing hardware such as servers and computers, installing and configuring software, and being an information technology "Jack of all trades." You will never be bored in this position as you will play an integral role in the support of our rapidly growing technology company's partners and clients. Through your work, you will interact with our service desk, our clients, and 3rd parties to solve technical issues at our client sites, perform technical bench work and provide exceptional customer service. Your work will help our clients to achieve their business goals and you will encounter new and interesting challenges every day that keep the job fresh and exciting., * Serve as the field contact for a client seeking technical assistance.
- Perform remote and onsite troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
- Determine the best solution based on the issue, and details provided by the client.
- Walk the client through the problem-solving process.
- Educate the client on technical solutions.
- Work with Helpdesk to resolve field based issues.
- Record Events, Problems, Resolutions, and Time in PSA Ticket Tracking ·
- Follow up with customers to report issue status and information
- Identify and suggest possible improvements to field operations.

- Clear understanding of basic office technology like printers, copiers, and telephones.
- Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care.
- Ability to keep yourself organized and on-task.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changes quickly
- Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services
- Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of prospect information.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environment
- Ability to keep up on necessary ongoing industry related training
- Ability to perform remote support and resolve client issues.
Technical Knowledge:
- Windows 11 and Mac
- Basic Understanding of IPv4, DNS, DHCP
- Familiarity with Windows Server
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365
PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES WHO:
- Have demonstrable customer service experience
- Have demonstrable technical support experience
- Who have taken the INDEED proficiency test for this position., * High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer Service: 3 years (Preferred)
- Windows Troubleshooting: 2 years (Required)
