Job description

The Logistics SAP MORE Temp will perform a wide variety of daily tasks related to inventory management, scheduling, procurement, receiving, packing, and shipping. This role supports operational continuity by performing duties essential to inventory accuracy, material flow, and system data integrity. Responsibilities will shift based on the operational needs of Project MORE., * Implement and/or oversee new processes and programs.

  • Perform inventory and warehouse management functions.
  • Operate fork trucks, stock pickers, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
  • Maintain cycle count programs and perform inventory adjustments.
  • Create and update work instructions.
  • Identify and resolve internal inventory discrepancies.
  • Troubleshoot vendor and customer issues.
  • Support special projects and provide problem solving assistance.
  • Create and maintain material masters and related SAP views.
  • Determine product consumption requirements and associated storage needs.
  • Process vendor and customer returns, including credits and debits.
  • Manage backorder reports and other shipping/inventory reporting.
  • Coordinate warehouse and office equipment maintenance.
  • Review accounts receivable and payable issues.
  • Assist with troubleshooting EDI and SAP-related issues.
  • Review customer and vendor delivery performance concerns.
  • Create labels and packaging concepts.
  • Perform tasks for Customer Support, Planning, Warehouse, and Scheduling teams.
  • Analyze production requests using piston and assembly drawings.
  • Create production orders as needed.
  • Complete post production analysis on orders, including costing and inventory accuracy.
  • Generate serialization files using SAP and Excel.
  • Print accurate drawings and maintain production packets.
  • Develop spreadsheets as needed.
  • Review and analyze the hold shelf for potential completions., Must be able to work additional hours at the beginning or end of a shift, additional days during the payroll period, and beyond 40 hours per week as needed-including some holidays and weekends.

Requirements

  • Associate degree preferred; or one to two years related experience/training; or equivalent combination.
  • SAP experience required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business procedures, drawings, and documentation. Ability to write business procedures and general documentation.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to identify problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, speaking, and hearing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Moderate noise. Steel toes, hearing, and eye protection required.
  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, and extreme temperatures.
