Are you a detail-driven IT Deployment Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Implementation Specialist with a track record of executing structured system migrations?
We are urgently recruiting a hands-on Deployment Manager to join the senior IT program team overseeing a major system rationalisation project. This critical role involves migrating legacy works management systems over to a modern enterprise platform across 20 upcoming contract streams.
Working hand-in-hand with an established Project Manager, you will take full operational ownership of the technical deployment, supplier engagement, and complex data migration cutovers., * Integration & Testing: Fully own and track the implementation plans, overseeing the building, testing, and final cutover of client-facing system integrations with the new platform
- Supplier Engagement: Serve as the day-to-day primary point of contact with the third-party software vendor, handling issue resolutions, processing technical escalations, and aligning joint deployment tasks
- Cutover Operations: Directly manage live cutover activities. You will run deployment checklists, verify that data migrations are validated, and oversee overnight migrations from test to live environments
- People Management: Coordinate and collaborate with an extended project team including multiple BAs, an IT trainer, data specialists, and technical SMEs against tight timelines, * Stage 1: A 30-minute competency and initial project discussion with the Senior Program Manager
- Stage 2: A 60-minute technical evaluation focused on cutover planning, hosted alongside the Project Manager

Requirements
- Migration Experience: Proven track record running technical deployment plans, data migrations, and software cutovers. Prior experience with high-volume housing or works management systems is highly desirable
- Detail-Oriented & Hands-On: This is a delivery-focused role requiring someone who gets into the detail and tracks tasks diligently, rather than just checking a high-level plan
- Leadership Capabilities: Confident managing cross-functional people, technical stakeholders, and third-party vendors under compressed timeframes
- Mobility & Presence: Must be located near the Liverpool/Knowsley region to facilitate an initial on-site induction, bi-weekly site visits, and hands-on cutover support
