Location: Waltham Cross. This is a community-based role with responsibility for overseeing services across Broxbourne, East Herts and Welwyn Hatfield. Flexibility to travel across the service area is required to meet the needs of the service

Main purpose:
The postholder will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Mimram service, holding accountability for service performance, contract delivery, safeguarding systems and resource management
Role Specific:
- Hold accountability for the service, including performance, quality and outcomes
- Ensure delivery against contracts, KPIs, SLAs, and commissioning requirements
- Ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and submission to commissioners
- Lead service development planning and innovation
- Line manage Senior Practitioners
- Hold responsibility for safeguarding practice across the service
- Lead relationships with: police, commissioners, local authorities etc
General
- Effectively manage your workload, yourself and your personal development
- Contribute to the co-ordination of the work of the wider team to ensure delivery of priorities agreed with the Head of Support Services
- Comply with data protection legislation, information sharing policy and procedures and all legislation connected to your work. Act in a manner which preserves the confidentiality of all stakeholders.
- Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the services works and recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of survivors ensuring the service is accessible to all.
Requirements
- Experience is supporting clients in domestic abuse, sexual abuse or stalking services
- Experience supervising, supporting and developing staff, including performance management
- Experience conducting or overseeing risk assessments, safety planning and case management
- Strong understanding of domestic abuse, sexual abuse and /or stalking, its impact, and trauma-informed approaches
- Ability to lead staff confidently, support team wellbeing and foster a positive workplace culture
- Competence in using databases, digital systems, and Microsoft Office applications, * IDVA, ISAC, ISVA or equivalent qualification (or willingness to work towards within an agreed timeframe)., * Car driver with access to vehicle
- Subject to Enhanced DBS Check
- Ability to work outside the normal office hours to cover on call on a rota basis
