Job description

We're looking for someone who can take ownership of every low voltage project from start to finish.

This isn't a helper position. This isn't a "show up and wait for instructions" job.

We need someone who can walk onto a jobsite, figure out what needs to happen, get it done right, and make sure the customer is happy before leaving.

If you need someone looking over your shoulder, this job isn't for you.

What You'll Do

  • Install commercial security camera systems
  • Install access control systems
  • Install intrusion alarm systems
  • Run and terminate CAT5e/CAT6 and fiber optic cable
  • Install conduit (EMT, PVC, flex, underground)
  • Build and install surveillance trailers
  • Install solar power systems, batteries, and networking equipment
  • Install wireless bridges and antennas
  • Configure IP cameras, NVRs, switches, and routers
  • Troubleshoot network and low voltage systems
  • Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Manage projects from start to finish
  • Train and lead junior technicians
  • Keep jobs clean, organized, and on schedule

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Figures things out without waiting to be told
  • Takes pride in clean, professional work
  • Communicates well with customers
  • Shows up on time-every day
  • Solves problems instead of creating them
  • Can work independently
  • Can lead a crew when needed
  • Wants to continually learn new technology

Requirements

Experience with some or all of the following:

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs
  • Comfortable working on ladders and lifts
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Able to work outdoors in Texas weather
  • Basic computer skills
  • Professional appearance and attitude

Bonus Skills

  • Networking certifications
  • Low voltage license
  • Electrical experience
  • Welding or fabrication
  • Trailer wiring
  • Solar installation
  • PLC or automation experience

The Bottom Line

We're building one of the best low voltage companies in Texas.

If you're the kind of person who likes solving problems, takes ownership, and wants to build cool technology instead of doing the same thing every day, we'd like to talk.

Don't send a resume if you're just looking for another job. Apply if you're looking for a career.
