The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania - PennDOT is seeking an experienced Workstation Specialist to provide Tier 2 desktop support across District 3 offices, construction field sites, and remote locations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise PC hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and network infrastructure in a LAN/WAN environment. This position requires travel throughout the assigned region and is 100% onsite., * Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktop PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install Windows operating systems, applications, drivers, and system images.
- Configure Active Directory workstation accounts and support enterprise user accounts.
- Support Cisco AnyConnect VPN, LAN/WAN connectivity, TCP/IP networking, and SCCM deployments.
- Install and terminate Cat5e/Cat6 network cabling.
- Configure and support iPhones, iPads, and MDM-managed mobile devices.
- Maintain inventory, asset records, and Remedy tickets.
- Support Microsoft Teams, VoIP, conferencing equipment, and telecommunications.
- Travel to PennDOT offices, construction sites, and other Commonwealth locations to provide onsite technical support.

Requirements
- 4+ years of PC hardware/software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting in an enterprise LAN/WAN environment
- 4+ years supporting laptops and docking stations
- 4+ years supporting multifunction printers
- 2+ years of Remedy or similar ticketing system experience
- 2+ years installing Cat5e/Cat6 cabling and performing cable terminations
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, TCP/IP, Remote Desktop (RDP), and desktop support
- Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel throughout the assigned region
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, customer service, and documentation skills
