Job description
Product Design, Reverse Engineering & Development
- Design and develop high-performance electric motors, propulsion systems, and electromechanical assemblies for land, air and sea drone technologies.
- Create detailed CAD models, assemblies, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- Optimize designs for: Efficiency, Durability, Thermal performance, Weight reduction and Manufacturability
- Support reverse engineering, prototyping and product transition into manufacturing.
- Define and benchmark products against performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability metrics.
- Generate engineering reports identifying opportunities for innovation and product improvement.
- Develop next-generation designs that exceed competitor performance while maintaining production scalability.
Manufacturing Support
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve production efficiency and product quality.
- Support tooling, fixture, and process development.
- Work with suppliers to improve component quality and reduce cost.
- Assist in transitioning new products from prototype to production.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, Marine Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience designing mechanical or electromechanical products.
- Experience with electric motors, propulsion systems, robotics, aerospace, marine systems, automotive systems, or autonomous vehicles.
