Job description

Product Design, Reverse Engineering & Development

  • Design and develop high-performance electric motors, propulsion systems, and electromechanical assemblies for land, air and sea drone technologies.
  • Create detailed CAD models, assemblies, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Optimize designs for: Efficiency, Durability, Thermal performance, Weight reduction and Manufacturability
  • Support reverse engineering, prototyping and product transition into manufacturing.
  • Define and benchmark products against performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability metrics.
  • Generate engineering reports identifying opportunities for innovation and product improvement.
  • Develop next-generation designs that exceed competitor performance while maintaining production scalability.

Manufacturing Support

  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve production efficiency and product quality.
  • Support tooling, fixture, and process development.
  • Work with suppliers to improve component quality and reduce cost.
  • Assist in transitioning new products from prototype to production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, Marine Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience designing mechanical or electromechanical products.
  • Experience with electric motors, propulsion systems, robotics, aerospace, marine systems, automotive systems, or autonomous vehicles.
